How to Add Kick Chat to OBS

Showing chat on screen lets people watching VODs and clips feel the atmosphere of the live stream. The chat overlay displays your Kick chat in OBS as a transparent box.

Setup

  • Copy the chat overlay address from the dashboard.
  • In OBS choose Sources → + → Browser.
  • Paste the address and set width and height.
  • Move the source to the corner you want.

Appearance options

  • Font and font size.
  • Background opacity.

  • Show or hide badges.
